Royal Irish Fifth metal button - reproduction?

    I found 6 or so of these buttons in a bag of old buttons & I am 99% certain that they are reproductions but I just wanted to make certain.

    They are 3/4" across.

    those backs look pretty clean and new....as opposed to the fronts..:(

    I don't see why these should be reproductions, there are hundreds of thousands about.

    Agreed. They're too inexpensive to copy.

    That is what first made me leery of them.

    Okay - thanks!! I did not know if these were something very old & special. I tried searching the ones listed but all of the ones I found did not show the backs.
