Ruby Red Glass Bottle - Does Anyone Recognize It?

    Hello Board Buddies - another mystery (at least to me!). At first I thought this was a royal ruby cruet but there is no pour spout so I'm now assuming it is some kind of bottle. It stands about 4 7/8" tall. The inside of the neck is ground so there is a missing stopper somewhere. Nothing of note on the bottom. Any help identifying it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Very strange. Cruet would have a spout, perfume would have no handle. No luck so far. Maybe someone will know.

    I am thinking something like bath salts etc. It is a little small for a carafe.
