S. Bent Bros. Chairs

    Would anyone know what style chair this is called?

    I'd call them spindle back chairs. Local terminology may differ.

    In Britain they are associated with High Wycombe, just west of London.

    Hey - I worked at S.Bent in the 1980s as a computer programmer. Everybody hated me! I didn't realize that going in, but it was an old fashioned, if large, wood shop, and they didn't see how getting computerized would help them. I'm sure it didn't. Luckily I left after a year.

    I hope I'm not betraying some "rule" by soliciting you here. I'm just really curious about an S. Bent & Bros. rocking chair I picked up today.
