Unpacking some of these thing'a'ma'doodles after moving.

I 'think' it is some type of Salt Glaze. it may be studio work. It seems very nice with a both a signature and an impressed mark that I can't make out. Measures 3 1/4'' tall.

    Perhaps someone has some idea.

    Thanks for looking. Cory

    Schmidt? Rep...something

The imprint looks like it ends with USA. Maybe it was a studio pottery blank.

I think the bottom says Gres D'Alsace.

It does. It is from Alsace, a traditionally German part of France.

janetpjohn and Any Jewelry - thank you! That is it! That guided me to who signed it. It is signed/made by a Schmitter. This sells OK outside of the USA. I have only a $1.50 into it, maybe can make a little bit with a lower price.

    Thanks again.
