    Good afternoon
I found this today at a charity ship. It is a stoneware bottle with a crusty look. Can't see any markings on it. Any idea when and where it could be made?

Looks a bit like raku, but I'm not positive.

It looks like an antique European bottle that was underwater or in a marsh for some time. Very nice shape.

    Good day
I was thinking. Could this we a Japanese Sake bottle?

I have no idea, but it’s a very interesting stoneware bottle with a great look about it. Nice find! Compared to your hand it looks quite small. What are the dimensions of it? Is that a oval shaped stamp/mark near the top?

So I have measured it. It is 13cm high and 10cm at the widest. It holds 450ml.
Is seems like a 6 punched into it, but could be something else.
It has this weird crusty stuff on it.

    Groete
