My family is collecting photos of paintings created by my great-grandfather, Samuel Kagey Roller. We would appreciate any contributions toward this endeavor! Below is a link to what pieces we know of thus far and a short bio.

    No...the atmosphere.

However, once upon a time, when I was small, we lived on an isolated farm. My family acquired various livestocK rather quickly. They all liked to be in on whatever our little family was doing, so every morning, two sheep, one goat, a tuxedo cat, and Icky, the world's nastiest rooster, used to walk me down the long lane to the school bus stop. :)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Oh, paintings, too? (I'm one who was looking for the postcards in your other thread.) For me paintings are a little less likely to find but you never know! From the interactions on the other thread I know you are an expert searcher.

EDIT: Wait, I just noticed you mentioned "photos of paintings." For clarification, is that what you are looking for, not the paintings themselves?

Well, we are also collecting the paintings themselves, BUT our primary goal is cataloging all of them that we can. We would certainly not wish to buy a painting of his from someone that is enjoying it!

Thanks INH! A quick google search didn't hit anything on Relier and artist. I have doubts its a pseudonym. Probably a misprint. He is mentioned in quite a few Who's Who books throughout the years.

  20. I just came across the article on Sam Roller! we have been looking for info on him. Sam was the art counselor at Camp Chenango in Cooperstown, N.Y.. My grandparents and parents owned the camp. We have a few of his paintings. Do you want photos of what we have? Where are you located?
