This sea glass looks so special... in my imagination it would have belonged to George Washington or the Titanic or something lol... anyone recognize it?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Welcome to Antiquers, @Betty Boop --

I hope somebody recognizes the pattern.
Of course it's ceramic, not glass. But maybe "sea glass" is being used as a generic term?

Cool another sea glass Hunter !

I would think no earlier than victorian. Pieces tend to look alot older cause they've been beaten about by waves rocks etc

The pottery shard looks more Titanic period than George Washington.

They originate, from end of the day glass objects, where factorys created pieces from all the left over colours !!

In sea glass terms they are called multi's

Holy cow! That looks amazing. My favorite spot in jersey is also mostly supplied by defunct glass factories

Supposedly, a good way of locating good spots, is to look on a map for mouth/cave shapes on shorelines, as the glass just collects there
