Second of 3 Old Baskets: NW Coastal NA?

    Pic 1 is the lid properly on its basket; 2nd pic is the inside of the lid, an' it appears to have collected the dust you see by being stored long term upside down. All 3 of these baskets were collected on the northern edge of the Olympic Peninsula, within 75 miles or so of Port Angeles.

    This is not quite 6" in diameter, an' about 4" high. Again, I can offer little else to assist you. Thanks for lookin'!

    the lid..is Salish, of some sort, and should be given to the cat to play with !

    the basket is Makah , circa 1900.

    cedar and dyed grass.
