    Brought over to America by great grandmother. Don't have a lot of other info. 20180806_093550-865x1941.jpg 20180806_093709-1031x1097.jpg 20180806_093614-1348x1999.jpg 20180806_093638-1198x1715.jpg

    Welcome to the forum!!! :happy::happy::happy:

    Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory, Ledvice, Czechia (Ladowitz, Bohemia, Austria)
    1882 founded by Robert Hanke.
    1945 the factory closed.

    Judging by the decorations I would place it somewhere around the turn of the century & would definitely classify it as Art Nouveau.

    Lovely.
    Says Austria in the oval. Does is say "Made in", if so then after 1921.
    I just see "Made Austria" So probably between 1891 and 1921.

    If selling, you could use the term Portrait Vase.

    Just curious... Would it have been marked for export (with "Made in Austria") if it were purchased abroad and brought into the U.S. with the chattel of an immigrating individual?

    Question is when did Great Grandma immigrate to the US and from where?
    Stories get remembered incorrectly. It could have been bought here. It might have been another vase that was brought from the old country.

    We believe she brought it over from Germany with dates of 1890 mentioned.
