Seeking help in identifying a painting

    Bought this reproduction and would like to know if anyone knows what period and who painted the original or the name of it.

    :) just thought more people might look at it this way.

    So is this the actual painting you bought or is this the original it was copied from? It's rather charming.

    Yes it is the actual painting I bought I haven't seen the original I was told that it was a copy of a famous painting but the store didn't know anything more about it.

    I suggest you do a Google image search (if you haven't already) to see if you come up with a match.

    I think the original dates from 1660-1680-something, judging from the clothes on the Lady. Beyond that ...no clue.
