Hello Everyone! Hope this find everyone to be well. I'm seeking information on this pottery hummingbird feeder. The pottery section measures about 8" across and about 3 1/2" tall. There are three stilt marks on the bottom. The wire is copper. It's a curious thing but I'm not sure it would survive for long outside in our Indiana weather. I found two other examples through Google lens (one current eBay listing in blue and white. and an old eBay listing with similar colors to mine) but the descriptions didn't provide anything useful. If anyone has information regarding manufacturer, timeframe, any info really, it would be much appreciated. Thank you! Don

It has three pontil marks on the base, so it ought to be old, but there's really no telling. At least I can't tell.

It's not obvious from the picture where the little red flowers stick in, so I was confused as to how it could be a feeder. I get it now, but it seems a shame to make something so pretty and then stick red plastic on it.

It's not obvious from the pictures but each of the flowers has a hold in the center. I don't know that the plastic flower would be necessary. The color combination of the glaze might be enough to draw hummingbirds on its own. The hummingbirds that drift through here tend to focus on my Rose of Sharon bushes with their pink and purple flowers. I just wished they would stay around longer. We're pretty much a hit and run stop on the way to the wintering grounds.:(
