    I think its a 20th century reproduction of a French piece. Id call it a hall table as well. The painting on it makes me think possibly Asian in origin,but Brad knows better than I .

    I agree with johnnycb09 that this piece is probably 20th C.

    It's an attractive table.

    I like your little table -- even if it isn't terribly antique. But you didn't give measurements A sofa table has to stand Lower than the back of the sofa. This is to ensure that when someone spills an ink bottle, it only ruins the Back of the sofa. :)

    Thank you! We love it; however, we're also running out of space with all the chairs we keep finding LOL

    often used in entrance halls sometimes with a mirror on the wall. problem with both the styles is that the Italians liked these and started to copy them rather early.
