Featured Seeking information on bedroom set

Hi all, I love the forum.

These are parts of a bedroom set that has been in my family in the Texas panhandle area since at least the early 1980s, but it might be older.

There is a full size bed, vanity with mirror, small dresser (not pictured), and bedstand (not pictured).

All have similar wood and pattern to match the headboard and vanity drawers. It is in decent shape, but has minimal markings other than generic black stenciling on the back ('VANITY'). I can get more photos if needed.

My family never had much money, so I imagine this is not valuable or collectible. I am just hoping someone knows something about when or where it was made.

Mass produced from the 20s-30s. Cheap when new,theres countless others out there unfortunately . Yours looks well kept and well loved.

 

Ditto what Johnny said. Looks to have been nicely refinished at some point. Countless makers of such furniture with most centered in Grand Rapids, MI. However, I am sure there were Southern and even some makers in TX. Will likely be impossible to attribute.

 

Yes, I was thinking Deco-era 1930s. Very handsome and worth holding on to!
