I posted this in the thrift store finds but am having problems attributing this. Ironically, I think I found this as being from a listed artist when I first bought it. Am having no luck now. Someone on the other thread suggest a surname, Hudson. I don't think that is it but do think it begins with an H based on the back inventory number. Any help? Is the subject a Bedouin tribe?

Any particular reason you think it might be a Bedouin tribe?

What's the medium? Looks like it might be on paper.

As in the title, it is guoache or acrylic on paper. As for the tribe, I originally thought it might me Maasai since that is a common subject. They are usually depicted with shields and spears so it doesn't quite fit. Otherwise, I am getting a desert vibe from this.

Apologies. Your title does indeed clearly state the medium.

Nice piece. Is there an established paid data base service that can ID these scrawls online ? I'd actually pay to have some of my pieces deciphered win, lose or draw.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

From what my UN-trained eye says, they seem to be hiding their faces???? But then, except for the signature on the bottom, I wasn't positive it's right side up...................maybe, I'm still not....I keep going back........

Group gathering Africa, the Southwest or some Biblical tale-who knows,it needs an artists name.
All you can do Brad is start posting it to as many decent art sites as are out there.
