Serial number on ring shank?

    Would this be a serial number. If so, is that done for pieces with higher value?
    It’s not marked for metal content but tests at least at 14k No inclusions on the large stone so I guess it’s lab sapphire. It rang the diamond tester like rubies do. The diamonds tested as good The number reads 34164v

    A manufacturer's code. Nice ring.
    Natural sapphires don't necessarily have inclusions, many don't. Shine your new toy on it, and show us.:happy:

    That's what I thought, but it is different. Probably from around that time though, many Diana fans wanted one like it.:rolleyes:

    I did put the UV on it but I think it only reopened the tone. It didn’t change colors. I’ll post a pic in a bit
