Serigraph signature help

I think I probably posted this at one point before but didn't get any concrete help. I am finally getting around to matting and framing this so thought I would give it another shot. It is a limited edition serigraph. Pencil signed. Any ideas who this might be? Guesses? Thanks!

 

Think I have found it. This was at auction listed as by Mercedes Molleda. Listed as a lithograph ...... Hmmmm. Have not found anything more as of yet.

 

I thought the falls were ID'd too

Lot passed. Starting bid $10.

 

Wonder how they came up with the Mercedes first name. I suspect they googled the name Molleda and found that there was Mercedes Molleda that wrote some books on art subjects.

 

There was another auction listing which described a waterfall scene and listed the artist as Spanish

I also found an estate sale listing from Seattle with a Mercedes Molleda Spanish artist print. There were lots of pics of art but none were identified as the Molleda and weren't clear enough to tell.

The only other references I find are to a Mercedes Molleda who is an art critic, Art Historian, and professor of art history. Also Spanish. She is the one who wrote the books and who's name is found in quite a few art catalogues. I do not know if she is someone different, one in the same or, as kardinalisimo suggested, a misattribution for these works.

Found this on ebay. It is the same one as from The Waterfords/Liveauctioneers links above but is only 2" x 3" .... ???? No first name or pic of signature provided.

What they are selling is a copy off of their printer, taken from the internet

Images size 2x3 INCHES

And they are still at 98.8% !

I think the other auction listings are likely misattributions

 

Looked a little closer at the seller of the above. He has many tiny reproduction prints for sale. Makes me wonder if he is cranking them out ......

I believe that is Jose Luis Molleda. I don't think he is the right one.

 

I didn't see the above posts until I returned.
That is so funny that this one serigraph is multiplying so fast.

 

This is the conclusion that I am coming to. I do think the signature is Molleda based on the signature of the other similar work. I just find no real link to Mercedes Molleda, nor do I think it is Jose Luis Molleda.

 

I have a framed litho by Mercedes Molleda puchased by my parents in 1970 from what was then called The Famous Artists Guild. It has the exact same signature and style as the photo posted by verybrad. Mine has the authenticity letter and artists information still attached to the back that came with it. See photo links. I hope this helps.
