You do not give us a size, but I think they are salts.

HI, Kard. As you know, some people like me, heading towards 90, sometimes have a problem with pictures. I'm kinda seeing what might be blue bowls set in lucite blocks.
Any chance at better pics? Of maybe just describe what I'm looking at.

    Thanks.

Thanks, SBSVC, that's what I thought they were. ST thought salt because she didn't have size, and mine were so blurred I thought I was probably wrong, too.
    Murano? Really.

Mandruzzato ones are usually sommerso cased. These might be, but the photos are far too poor to make out.

Close enough for me, Bear. But only because SBS posted the red one. Thanks for the confirmation. At first I thought they were paperweights. :)

Thanks for the link. The blue ones are cased, probably Murano but don't know if Mandruzzato.

Bear, you have both used "cased," I was pounced on once for using that word. Was told that it can ONLY be used for blown items, not pressed ones. I'm not sure I agree.'
    What's your take on that.

I don't agree either. ;) Cased is what it is: a layer of glass in another layer. And pressed glass can be constituted of more than one layer.

Thanks, Bear. I won't mention who he is because he might be here amongst the anonymous.
Actually a very well known glass expert. :jawdrop:
