Willis Henry had a sale last month on all things Shaker, there was something for every price range. Shaker continues to hold it's own for their objects, particularly furniture and is still very much in demand. Two stars of the sale in pic's & link is sale objects with prices. https://www.willishenryauctions.com/ Sister's cupboard sold for 180k Sewing table sold 234k
Yes, while the depression in antique brown furniture continues, Shaker rolls on it seems unaffected. Even the oval pantry boxes go for big numbers if paint is in good condition. Still, there are bargains like this little guy in cherry with maple drawer fronts, sold for $1100.
Mainly for Shaker. Shaker is a whole "other thing" in the furniture world and it's understated elegance & flawless cabinetmaking is still highly collectable. The only other "group" of furniture that is later that has these features that i can think of would be Mission IF built by noted makers like Stickley, Roycroft & others.
