I was wondering what an estimated value of this book would be?
Also who is Hill J Young?

The book was most likely owned by Hill J Young. The date being when it became theirs.

As for value, I can't help with that. Wait for others.

I believe that it's Will. J. Young (i.e., William J. Young). There is a period after the first name, so that means it is abbreviated. The first letter looks more like a W. to me.

Thanks for the replies! I see now it is Will. J. Young, saw it was abreviated and was thinking Hillary J. Young. I agree now it is William J. Young and probably no one of importance. Anymore input or further research would be greatly appreciated!

I believe they are original engravings as far as I can tell, but I am no expert. I can see the outlines from the metal plates that stamped the pages, the words are slightly indented where they where pressed but the pictures don't have the indentations. Most pictures are on their own page of thicker, glossier paper with the thing protective cover sheet. Some pictures are on pages with words and look to be printed in a different way.
