Picked this up at the end of a yard sale last week. At first I thought it was EAPG. It's extremely heavy crystal. It's Kosta before Boda signed and numbered on the bottom. I found a discussion on a glass board that claimed it was designed by Ellis Bergh in 1930. Unfortunately, it is missing the cover. If it wasn't signed, I never would have guessed it was Kosta.

Gorgeous! You'd never know by the top edge that it included a lid (and beautiful with or without) are you sure it's meant to have one?

    The shape is amazing!

I thought the exact same thing about the top not looking right for a lid but all photographs and references that I have found show a lid.

Other pieces of his with lids that sat flat with a descending ring of support...

    Kosta glasbruck

Especially the right one was fabulous! The engraving pattern was not originally Swedish, but the technique and the balance were absolutely fantastic! The works were designed by Elis Bergh, in 1929.
