Signature help on watercolours

    Hi,
    2 watercolours that I'm trying to figure out the signature. One has been damaged by water so the signature isn't very clear. I thought Gibson, but not sure. They are 17 1/2" x 7 1/4". They are very dirty, you can see the line along the one side. They are in frames that I think are 1930-40s.
    Any ideas appreciated

    Looks like Gibson to me, too - maybe C Gibson?

    It does look like C Gibson.......they're both very pretty.......I love the soft colors!!!!

    Thanks aquitaine! I think they are pretty too:) I bet they would look even better if they were cleaned up.
