Looks very mid 20th century to me. I can't do anything with the signature, and my very limited skills at image search didn't bring up anything. Any thoughts?

I see these quiet often in thrift stores. Many artists worked in this style, yeah late 70's early 80's. Unfortunately most have little value. Serigraph (silkscreen).

There are some sold Virgil Thrasher prints and while pretty, are modestly priced.

    Unbelievable!! Thanks!!!

I agree it is a cheap ass metal frame, and his work doesn't sell for much when it sells, but he does have fairly extensive history at auction. A very similar round work on liveauctioneers has the info on when it was made, but I can't tell if it says 1961 or 1981: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/41324639_river-cast-by-virgil-thrasher-print-150250 Can anyone tell?

I have stacks of original art that I need to figure out. I could just assume it is all crap and throw it all out, but where is the fun in that?

You might as well post it, might be something decent in your collection that is not immediately obvious.

The paper is signed and dated 1981 at bottom. Would assume that is when the work was published.
