Signed W Andresen 1904

What is it you want to know Cary? It is helpful to have close ups of signatures and the back of the painting.

We are wondering about the value of this painting its signed and dated lower left corner parents picked it up from a elderly woman in England in the early 1960s found some info on the artist but cant find any info on what's for sale or how much it may be worth

That is the same artist I also found that image I'm not home this weekend to take close up I do have pic of tag on back we were looking find some one who would know the value of some of his work all we could find was sold in auction house but dont reveal the selling price

This was sold in 2004, the estimate given then may be very different now. Also it may have sold for more or less than this amount. Someone else here on the board may be able to find out more for you.

and for the estimate given by Dorotheum Vienna: it could go both ways because Vienna is still rather conservative; it may go up in a more gay-friendly surrounding like San Fran or New York.
