Featured Silver ciborium

    Uhmmm. wow. How did the Church let that loose, or was it one made for a private chapel?

    I said the same, it's all sterling, usually only the cup is sterling. Ebay find years ago.

    The photos are out of focus,but it looks like an open seam and some kind of a poor repair on the rim of the cup.

    I'd have thought glass, but in a piece that size who cares? The edges of the facets look rounded.
