Sorry for the poor quality pics, any help please.
The first symbol is an A then a gap followed by an anchor a lion and the letter c,
I know its maybe tough but can anyone read these hallmarks and tell me anything about my item. Also the letters on the front I think may say gef if that means anything _20200411_222852.JPG _20200411_223304.JPG _20200411_222852.JPG _20200411_223304.JPG _20200411_223234.JPG

Hi @Misha28, maybe try photographing those letters WITHOUT FLASH, but in good lighting....I think the reflection is partially blocking what's there......

Silver cigarette case, made in Birmingham in 1927.

The [A. ...] is supposed to be the maker's mark, which is usually, two initials. so it'll be A-something.
