Silver coffee or tea pot with wicker wrapped handle?

Hi all,

I found a large pot with a large handle that used to be wrapped in woven rattan/wicker, but the pot is tarnished and much of the wicker has worn off. Unfortunately when I handle it, more small strips of wicker come off, so I minimize moving it.

The interior has a very shiny silver hammered finish. There are no marks on the bottom. The finneal at the top of the lid is distinctively gold in color, but I doubt it’s real gold? I also can’t tell what the pot is made of. Maybe silver since it’s so tarnished?

It feels light for its size.

I am curious about its age, where it was made, who made it, and how much it might be worth. I appreciate any thoughts you have!
