Silver embossed design original?

I have a silver bottle it’s by ~
Cornelius saunders & Francis shepherd

It has a round punch like holes to the silver embossed design.
I’ve never seen this before and can’t find one of similar design in a case, box form etc.

Your thoughts…. Is this original to the design or has someone done this after?

Wow. That is tiny!

I found a small box by them with similar decor, but it had no little holes and no jewels either.

 

The center design looks like a Chinese bat, symbol of good luck.

I think it was made that way; it's really too small to have been "clobbered".

I think the 'cartouche' within the c scrolls is for engraving a monogram. I don't think it is Chinese bat symbol. It is lovely!

 

Yes I thought the same and glad that it hasn’t been engraved with initials.
