Silver hallmark help needed please

    Hi there

    I have a bracelet that was gifted to me, I would love to know a little history on it, especially the year it was made, it is very precious to me so I am not concerned about its value.

    If you could help, that would be wonderful

    This is a Sheffield import mark with the date letter D for 1978. The sponsor's mark OMC is not known to me.
