Featured Silver Mexico necklace. Stretched chain?

    Lucky find, stumbled on this necklace (sold as costume!) but now wondering if the chain has been stretched from the weight of the beads, or if it would have been always like this? Looking at a few others on Ebay I don't see this much excess chain. Thoughts?

    I think it's a deliberate feature of the design, to make it more comfortable around the neck.

    Looks fine to me, as Bronwen says, designed for comfort.

    Yes, agree. The box chain compliments the design. Meant to be exposed.

    Same here. The chain is exposed on these often. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Agree with all the above and just adding that it’s Taxco post 79 and looks 80s to me.
