First word looks like "Casanova" and the second might be a copyright symbol and 1990. Just a guess.
    Cheers

Thank you! I could see the 1990. I'll go google a bit on Casanova, see if that works.

That makes a lot more sense than what I was seeing. ;)

    Very cute, obb.
Stephen probably has better eyes than I, but I read asacova. So if you can't find Casanova (;)), you could try that.

I do too, but there is a capital letter in front of it. B or S or G?

It looks like Casanova from here too, or asanova so we can infer the C.

I'm still googling. ;) It's not huge value I suspect, I'm just intrigue!

Even if you don't find out anything, some people will pay for the novelty value. It is nice and unusual.

Obb, you have the piece in the hand ... are you sure about the 1990? I'm almost seeing a name in that 2nd line. Looks like it starts with an "R" -- or maybe "Riggo"?

That looks like the Pierre Cardin logo in front of 1990. The brand was widely licensed then but unaware if biblelots included.

As licenses included chop sticks, I'd say anything was possible.

The chop sticks are nice. They would have been nicer without the logo, but I like the Art Deco-ish design.

Hmmmm.... thanks @Debora . I've stared at it again. it's that possibly Cardin mark, followed by 99 and then a full stop I think. My only thought was whether the "Cardin" symbol was a copyright c in circle, but it isn't. It's been badly stamped and the plating is gloopy!
