Silver-Plated Brass Chain; Has This Got a Specific Name?

There's 15 feet of it, all in one chunk. It weighs about a gram per inch, which is ~2 1/2 links. The short piece is 2 1/2" long. I had hoped for sterling, but a look at the cut-ends shows yellow brass. I've no recollection of when or under what circumstances it was acquired.

My knowledge about chain is meager at best. Does this particular wire-wrap dual-hole per link style have its own name? Thanks for lookin'!

I'd call it mess-with-me chain. It's begging to be messed with.

That's a good call! I'm not tiny-pieces skilled, so it'll be for someone into makin' or fixin' jewelry...chop it up into reasonable pieces, add some bangles or charms, a nice catch...just imagine! I suspect you already have, eh?

I was working on something similar tonight. It's what happens when I'm given pliers and a spot in front of the telly.
