Hello everyone! Can anyone tell me what I've run across here. I think it's a six paneled nut or mint cup and that it is silver plate. Each panel features a hammered decoration of a palm tree and two panels also include a bird. The feet are little fishes. The cup measures about 1 3/4" tall and 2 1/2" across the top. I'm guessing it's a souvenir brought back from the Pacific theater just after WWII but I'd like to get some conformation if I could. Siam maybe? It is completely unmarked but I gave it a light dip in some jewelry cleaner and it cleaned like silver plate. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks much!
    Don
