    Ram + Zeus-Ammon + Alexander the Great?

I'm pretty sure the one face would be Alexander the Great as he is usually depicted with horns and the ring is made in such a way the ram and Alexander share the horns but not sure who the other 2 characters would be but zeus-Ammon would fit because they are all associated from what i have read, Thank you for your interest and the message with possible names of the other characters.

I'm not sure if the bit at the top is a 4th face, or just an optical illusion.
@Bronwen might be able to tell us more.

Maybe I'm blind.......I see the ram's head with horn curled, and above the ram's head I see what looks to me like a smaller sheep's head..........I'm not seeing any other faces..........but don't see other figures, even after rotating the whole way!!

The rams head is looking left and opposite that is a humanoid figure looking right another looks down and another straight up, I didn't notice them all till a little while after having the ring so i wouldnt call you blind for not seeing them.

I see the ram's head and the human or divine head on the right. The profile at the bottom looks like Alexander's profile as it is often depicted.
The hair and moustache of the figure on the right remind me of Zeus, so that could be him.
I agree with the likely ram's horns - Zeus - Alexander the Great link, with the ram as symbol of Ammon/Amon. Ammon and Zeus were Alexander's claim of legitimacy as a political and religious leader.
I don't see Ammon, and would think that the presence of the ram's horns/head was enough to symbolize Ammon.

The word inside the rectangular cartouche in the ring band starts with a W?

Looks like Shaun was already on the right track, but thanks to @PepperAnna @Any Jewelry (and @Aquitaine and @Marote ) for fielding this one so throroughly. As PA mentioned, this one is a popular combo:

    Alexander goat Zeus Ammon adj.JPG

    For variety, here's another:

    Satyr Eagle Alexander adj.JPG

@Shaun360 You asked in the cameo thread what this is if not a cameo. I would consider it a cameo in the strictest sense of a small work in relief, and it belongs to the general realm of glyptics, engraved gems. It's possible that the maker of your ring took an impression from an intaglio with this design.

Would be interested in having a more complete view of the ring. What are the shoulders like?

WOW!!!! Guess I was blind to seeing the two face profiles, even AFTER I'd enhanced it a bit........either have to get to bed earlier, or have my glasses changed!!!!! "CLEAR as a BELL", now that I DO see them!!!!!!!!!!

Okay that's interesting, thank you for that.
This is the best one I have of a side view, if you'd like another better image I'll have to take another after work later on.
