Silver Screen Actress? 40's-50's? Anybody Recognize Her?

    I cannot recall if I have asked about this portrait here.
    I'm not even sure my research of the artist is the same as the only Doris Gehri I could find.
    Looks to be oil on canvas (haven't taken her from the frame), in cream to dark chocolate tones.
    Cleft chin, an almost aggressive hauteur, cold and remote eyes...gotta be a movie star, methinks.
    The slight green on the left above her hair is a foliage reflection in the glass
    Is she at all familiar to any of you? Thanks for lookin'!
