    TIA

We normally recommend that silver items should be shined up for best appeal to buyers and to ensure that damage concealed by tarnish is revealed. Hard to say from this picture just how tarnished they are in general. How many different patterns do you think you have?

    I think 5 different, 150 pieces total
    1 pattern is Milady community?
    Supreme silverplate?
    Wm rogers
    Fairfield silverplate
    Crown

Those don't sound like they are going to go for much. The Supreme, Fairfield and Crown are low quality names. The William Rogers will depend on which William Rogers (there are 2 different men with this name) and then which pattern.

You can look up the Milady pattern (under Oneida Community) on eBay to see if it sells and what for.

Can you post a picture of the mark and handle design for the Rogers one?

You might also be able to sell the pieces to be repurposed into jewelry or crafts.

I haven't done it in a while, but I use to divide the pieces up & sell all of the teaspoons, forks, knives, serving pieces, etc.

When I did this I never polished the pieces & sold them as is because the people who were buying the lots were going to cut away much of the item so why polish it.

The pieces I sold like this were usually the patterns that were not worth bothering with to sell as flatware.
