Hi everyone I got this sewing machine yesterday and wondered if anyone knew how old it is? I did google but struggle to find anything. The serial number is P110808 I think. Also is it possible to get a booklet showing how to use it? It’s still working and it’s a manual which I really wanted. Just needs a little clean and oil I think. Thanks

I don't know anything about sewing machines, but according to this document, and based on the S/N, it's a Model 15K (also referred to as Machine Class):

    The manual:

    A youtube to set up:

That's part 1 and part 2 will display in the sidebar. It's a newer design, but same model. You can select the Watch on youtube button to go to youtube to get to the sidebar...

  5. Wow it's so beautiful. Shame you didn't get the original table with it.

I know the lady I got it from only bought it for the table but fingers crossed I may find a table one day

Tables are out there. Your machine was made in Scotland I believe.

That poor baby! She needs a lot of love; all that rust ought to be shiny steel. I bet it works once it's cleaned up and oiled and the rotted belts are replaced. Those old Singers are the best quilting machines ever.

It seems like my job is done here.

But, just to have something to type about...

    Yes, it's a Singer No. 15.
Yes, its from the early 1900s.
Yes, you can get manuals for them. Either the original green booklets (if you dig around online, or at flea-markets, etc), or you can download them off the internet.
