Sir Frances Drake silver soldered pitcher

My friend brought over a box full of silver plated jugs, pitchers, etc. for me to check out.
They are her Grandmothers and wanted to know values of these but, at bottom of box, I pulled out this and told my friend that this could be something great. I was wondering if this could have actually been used by, Sir Frances Drake on his expeditions ?

Billy, Johnny is correct. It's a pretty nice place, too - it's been around for about 90 years!
