    I would like to know what kind of key I have . Im not a collector I just found it . N I'm trying to see if it has history.

    what size is it and where ( town )did u find it ?

    Couldn't tell you what it's for but from the turned pattern near the loop I would say at least 100 years old

    Your photos are a little blurry so it's hard to tell details on whether it's old or new. We have a bunch of these. They are still making some of them. Lots of people here have antique houses and still use bit keys (skeleton keys). Hubby has gone to the monthly Mass. Locksmiths Association meeting so I'll ask him when he gets home. How long is it?
