    ~3" diameter, ~1 3/8" recess for lid, ~2 3/4" high, ~1 7/8 blue-dot circle at the base; weighs ~101 grams.
The interior is enameled in the same green as above an' below the 6 scintillating electric blue shields, an' is featureless. The body material is copper, judging from what shows in the damaged area.
Is it Japanese, or Chinese? What are the clues to that ID?
I'm not at all familiar with the effect shown through that translucent blue in the shields...it appears like wrinkled silver foil, but that's only a guess.
I have several other, larger cloisonné pieces, but most are of monochrome enamel, black & green, mainly. I've heard that the color in the exterior base, an' the interior color, are both indicators of origin...but I don't know what & which is/are primarily significant. Thanks for lookin'!

Your little cloisonne jar is Japanese. The blue is a technique called "ginbari", which uses a thin, crumpled silver foil underneath the enamel. Probably late 19th to early 20th century.
