Hello Board Friends - I'm trying to figure out the origin of this small trinket dish. It measures 4 1/4" across and a little over 1" tall. It reminds me of Scandinavian pottery but I haven't been able to make much headway on an ID. It's got a little bit of everything: people, birds, animals, buildings, rivers, etc. The dish is unmarked. I suspect a tourist piece. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
    Don

Just a thought...could it be the DIP part of a Chip and Dip Set?

Not sure if that is writing on the side of the bowl...it does appear to possibly be Kannada south Indian.

I've got one of these, (mine is nicer though, Famille Rose) ..thanks for the ID - I knew it was Qianlong but didn't know what it was for ...until now!

Well at least you are using it. Mine is just part of my reference collection which is useful.... but not that often:)

I try to use all my stuff if I can. My penny-lick glasses don't come out very often though.
