SMALL DUNHILL BOX - CIGARETTES?

I found this in a storage unit - it's too small for a cigar humidor (it measures 8" L x 5" W x 3" H), but it has the filter that a humidor uses - is it a special cigarette case?

    Any idea of age?
    Thanks!

Definitely a humidor. Cigarillos? I've never seen one made to hold coffin nails.

Looks like there must be a good six, six and half inches inside that box, meaning it would hold all but the largest types of cigars. Ergo, humidor.

Cheroots? Cigarillos? Why not cigarettes? Nice box regardless...

I can't speak to age but saw the same tag on another box......& I think yours may be worth more than you'd think it is...

Think yours has a lot more age, the ebay one has more modern crosshead screws.
