Featured Small glass & filigree trinket box

View attachment 415690 Found this delightful little trinket box in a charity shop yesterday afternoon and just had to have it!
It has a beautiful blue glass base with a gold metal filigree lid. The cameo is glass & I think the black disc under it is also glass.
There are no marks at all - could this be Czech? I have searched online but can't find anything quite like it. Would love to know roughly when and where it would have been made - it's in immaculate condition. It is about 1.5 inches high and 2 inches across.
Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be appreciated.

 

Looks like it to me. Love that blue.

 

The blue was what drew me to it. It was sitting on a shelf amongst a load of tat and just sort of called to me! It looks absolutely beautiful with light shining through it.

 

Ooh, pretty! That blue is always a winner. The brass stamping looks similar to the reverse of many Czech brooches.

 

Not to disparage the beauty of this piece, but were it cut and polished....
