This wants to be alexandrite/neodymium -but I'm not sure yet - I don't have a proper flourescent light around to test it. I'm also thinking it's Czech - but not sure on a maker - maybe Zelezny Brod? About 5" tall. Heavy.

    Thanks for looking!

Is alexandrite/neodymium glass tested with a fluorescent light? I thought it was sunlight and indoor lighting. Hmm maybe indoor lighting is fluorescent.

    Check Mosser.

Yes flourescent vs daylight. Or flourescent vs incandescent. LED bulbs vary in their wavelength so can be hard to tell with LED lighting (which is mostly what i have in my house). I think outside(daylight) vs incandescent would not show a distinction and thus wouldn't be a good test. I'll do some searching for Moser, thanks!

No need to be sorrry.:kiss::kiss:

With as many members as we now have keeping straight who is more knowledgable about certain things is certainly a challenge. :D:D:D

YES.....Czech. It is alexandrite and a recent vintage. I never liked these because of the top opening, but I still have one. Many can be found with stickers still on them. The Czech republic is cranking out new alexandrite from old molds (or copying them), plus a lot of new designs.
