I found this today at an estate sale that was filled with items from Czechoslovakia / Bohemia - glass, pottery, artware, folk art, etc.

Could this be from the same region? So far I've found similar items from Harrach and Loetz, but no matches in shape or decor on any of my bookmarks (Bohemian Glass & More, Loetz & Bohemian Glass sites). I haven't handled many pieces by any of those companies. I'm really just guessing.

It's 3.75" high, with a ground and polished rim. A couple of the similar pieces I found had metal attached rims. Given the damage around the rim of this one, could it be missing something? Thanks!

Snowdrops? Maybe it's because you live in Texas, with no snow(?)!!

It's a lovely vase, in any case!

Funny you should post that link to Collectors Weekly. She actually replied to my cross post on your vase.

I have the same vase, also with the snowdrop decor. I never really attributed it, but I agree with Warren that my choice would be more to Rindskopf than to Kralik.

Snowdrop, indeed. I adore them. There are people here who are snowdrop fanatics and will pay hundreds for rare bulbs. They only grow well if you plant them in the green: that means not dry bulbs, but transplanted in full growth. Leave them alone and they spread madly, I've a great swathe of them under my ancient apple tree.
