Featured Small Japanese carved item

    11863853-A29A-4C01-A396-40CEA3C8AF1E.jpeg 2C2EAE5A-319E-482D-BF4E-22B7F7834FBB.jpeg I assume this is Japanese. Some little item that would have accompanied a man for something? Not a Netsuke, some little decorative and possibly functional thing? I don’t own it but I’m intrigued and may own it soon. Looks like face rotates which I’ve seen before On Japanese carvings. What is it?

    I had this one years ago......thought it was a tobacco container...only after I sold it.........

    Ugh let it go after it got to about $320. It was with a few other items. Was gonna bid once more actually but I got distracted lol. I’ll get the next one I see if I can!
