Small Oil Painting

    I took a $30 chance on this, hoping the signature is decipherable (and desirable!).

    It's small--- 6+" x 4" image. (16x10cm)

    I think the label says I. O. Krumbholz, Milwaukee.

    I think it's an oil on board, with a cardboard backing between the board and the frame's nails.

    I tried a quick 'cleaning' with a single Q-tip swab and saliva in one corner, but it did not immediately clean up. Maybe it needs something more to come back to life.

    Thank you for any help. Antiquers is an invaluable resource for me, and I never take it for granted. Thank you!

    Very impressionist ,I love it. That looks well done but yes,it needs a good cleaning. that signature is a nightmare ! Galluzia ?
