Featured Small pottery Dish Usque Quo? mark

    Does anyone recognize the mark on this little pottery dish. Looks like Usque Quo ? and I think the other word may be France. Thank you.

    What an odd mark. Latin to English translation is "Even More?" Love the green glaze, though,

    Yes, I agree, odd. In my searches I think I ran across it in a coat of arms.

    Not surprising as a motto. But what you've got is most likely a piece of studio pottery and unfortunately we know hard it can be to nail them down. That squiggle in the center may be the key.

    "Usque Quo" translates into "Even More" in Latin.
    "Fazanca" translates into "Pheasant" in Slovenian.
