    I have several little boxes like yours with different stones but sorry no silver in them at all.

    Italian. White chromed metal with marble inserts, or onyx, sold VERY widely as tourist trinkets in the 60s and 70s. We bought loads of them then. No real value I'm afraid - we got them as little gifts to be used as pill boxes.
