Pretty, but also pretty recent. The dirt is applied to the base make them look old.

Size doesn't look right for snuff bottles.
    How tall are they?
Do the stoppers have spoons attached?

It is right, just a bit bigger than you are used to.:)
This type of mass produced ceramic stopper usually doesn't have a spoon attached. These stoppers have a protusion at the bottom which sometimes has a hole to hold the top of the spoon, but not always.

Now you're talking! There is a world of difference between this snuff bottle and the first two.
Yes it is glass, gorgeous antique Peking overlay glass. The glass was made in two layers, black over dark amber. The black layer was carved with a fish and lotus motif to reveal the amber glass. There is also some subtle carving on the amber glass. Could we see the design on the other side?
The stopper is brass with nice auspicous symbols and an amber glass cabochon, I suspect the brass was once gilded. Could we see the spoon?
I hope not.:nailbiting: It looks like it has a carved footrim, a sign of quality.

That's why I wanted to see the bottom.

Here is the bottom... the item is warm to the touch, like amber rather than glass.

Maddiem, that is the photo you showed before, with a side view which includes the bottom. Cluttered meant a good view of the bottom.

    And:
    ?
Are you sure? Is it warmer than a regular glass?
There is no way it is amber.
If it really is warm, it is a very good plastic fake. I have seen fake overlay glass, but that was never transparent like this.
Leave it for an hour, then feel it, and feel a regular empty drinking glass that has been in the same room. I am sure the temperature is roughly the same.

If you ever get around to photographing the spoon, I would also like to see the actual stopper, so the part under the lid.
