    Came in a jewelry lot I purchased online. Not sure what it is.

    It is a pretty scent or kohl bottle, but they are often sold as snuff bottles. These are made in northern India and neighbouring Nepal. Not old, they are still being made.
    This one is nicely made ( most are not). The inlays are glass, red and blue to resemble coral and turquoise, two traditional stones in the Himalayas.
    It is made to be worn on a necklace.
